Canet and Cardelus visit Fantic on their road to the Italian GP

The Mugello week is something special, even more so for an Italian company like Fantic. It becomes the perfect occasion to share the passion among those who work tirelessly in the factory and the ones showcasing the brand’s colours on the racetracks around the world.

In the lead-up to the highly anticipated Italian Grand Prix, the Fantic Racing Moto2 riders visited the headquarters of the Fantic group for the first time, discovering the novelties and getting in touch with those who develop, assemble and promote the product range of the Venetian manufacturer on a daily basis.

Aron Canet and Xavi Cardelus were welcomed at Fantic Motor’s operational HQ in Santa Maria di Sala by CEO Paolo Fontana, President Tiziano Busin, Vice President Mariano Roman and all their colleagues on Tuesday. The Moto2 stars had the opportunity to meet those who work on Fantic’s product development as well as the test team. They got a first look at the prototypes of the Stealth and the Imola, Fantic’s first naked and sport bike coming later this year. Both projects will benefit from the information and experience gathered by the Fantic Racing Moto2 team in the Grand Prix World Championship.

Canet and Cardelus also saw the new MY25 Enduro and Motocross range that was launched just a few days ago. Finally, the visit took them to the premium bicycles manufacturer Bottecchia Cicli in Piove di Sacco as well as Motori Minarelli in Calderara di Reno, the beating heart of the group’s motorcycle production.

There is more to come. Before the Italian GP kicks off, Canet and Cardelus will also get the chance to experience the Caballero myth on their way to the “Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello”. Stay tuned!

Aron Canet:

“I want to say thank you for all the love, I found much more than just a team here in Fantic, it felt like family from the very first moment. It is great to visit the headquarters and to see where it all starts. We are 100% ready for the upcoming race weekend in Mugello. The track is beautiful and it is somehow my second home GP as we are at Fantic’s home round.”

Xavi Cardelus:

“I am very happy to be here in Fantic. What I liked the most was the spirit of all the guys working here. It was an amazing experience, the feeling is great and now I am even more ready for the team’s home round.”

Roberto Locatelli, Fantic Racing Moto2 Team Manager:

“Visiting the Fantic headquarters gives us a first taste of what will be our weekend. The Grand Prix in Mugello is important for everyone and even more so for Fantic. It is our home round and we want to give our all for the company, that is to aim for the maximum and to go for it until the very last lap.”
