Double victory and podium for the Fantic XE 300 in France

At round 2 of the French Enduro Championship, Fantic Factory Racing Enduro’s Théo Espinasse claimed a superb double victory in the E3 class to take the lead in the standings. Thibault Giraudon joined his teammate on the podium on both race days.

The weekend in Vagney got underway with a perfect Fantic 1-2 on day 1. Théo Espinasse claimed the E3 class victory ahead of Thibault Giraudon, as both riders impressed aboard the Fantic XE 300 with a fuel-injected Minarelli engine.

Espinasse repeated the feat on day 2, securing his second victory of the weekend. He was once again joined on the podium by Giraudon, who finished third after a closely fought battle for second place, ultimately missing out by just a matter of seconds following an impressive weekend of racing among the Elite class riders.

After the first two rounds, the championship standings make for encouraging reading for the Fantic Factory Racing Enduro duo. Espinasse now leads the E3 class with a four-point advantage over his closest rival, while Giraudon sits firmly in third place in the provisional standings.

Théo Espinasse:

“It was a fantastic weekend with two victories and, above all, a great feeling with my Fantic. My mechanic and I worked really well together, we found some solutions that made a real difference, and the results showed. A big thank you to the whole team for all their hard work and professionalism. Now we are ready for my home GP!”

Thibault Giraudon:

“I am very happy with my weekend. We tried a few set-up changes and found the right direction, and I had a great feeling with the bike. It is great to be on the E3 podium, but also overall, battling with elite GP riders and being close to them gives me a lot of confidence. I am looking forward to the French GP this weekend!”
