Shooting for the Moon with Bogers and Coldenhoff at the MXGP of Czech Republic

Brian Bogers returns to action this weekend in Loket and joins his Fantic Factory Racing MXGP teammate Glenn Coldenhoff on a special mission aboard the Fantic XXF 450 at round 13 of the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship – 55 years after mankind stepped onto the moon for the first time.

On July 20, 1969, the Apollo 11 mission and Neil Armstrong’s “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” earned their place in the history books. In celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Moon landing, Fantic Factory Racing MXGP’s Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers will take to the track with a one-off livery at the Czech GP, designed in collaboration with the Italian manufacturer’s official partner Shot Race Gear.

Fantic returned to the premier class of the FIM Motocross World Championship this season, and the Fantic XXF 450 has already been taking on the MXGP stars on multiple occasions, with both Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers coming close to what would be a historic first podium for the Italian brand at the pinnacle of the sport. Fantic Factory Racing MXGP has recorded five top-5 overall finishes so far this season, and Coldenhoff currently sits sixth in the championship standings.

Back to full force with Bogers making his return to racing in Czech Republic after having dislocated his left shoulder at the first Indonesian GP three weeks ago, Fantic is fully committed to writing its own piece of MXGP history – shooting for the moon, one small step at a time – just like the Fantic XX 125 riders did with an impressive 1-2 by Noel Zanocz and Simone Mancini at the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in the Netherlands last weekend.

Brian Bogers:

“Luckily, the shoulder is feeling completely fine again. I only took one week off the bike and got a lot of treatments. I am ready to rock’n’r roll again.”

Glenn Coldenhoff:

“We did some testing and I believe it was good, but training is one thing and racing is something else. I always feel good here, though, I was in the top 5 in the last three years. We are still working towards a podium this season, and it would be great to get it here before heading to Lommel.”
