The Moto2 season starts from the tests of Portimao and Jerez, where Aron Canet has been immediately one of the protagonists. 

The Fantic team used these days to fine-tune the bike setup (and to test the new developments brought by Kalex) in preparation of the start of the season. 

In Portugal the weather conditions did not help the team’s work, being only able to go on track for a couple of hours during the first day. Canet proved a good feeling within the team, being at ease from the first laps with the bike and finishing in second place. Cardelus got to know the bike, testing more technical solutions.

Jerez was a real test for the team, being able to take advantage of the excellent weather conditions of the three days. Aron Canet has been the fastest in the first and second day of testing, proving a good state of shape and a great desire to play a leading role during the rest of the season. Xavi has worked hard to find the right set-up, showing important steps forward day after day. 

Now we're just waiting for the first race of the 2024 season to be held in Qatar from 8 to 10 March. 

Locatelli - Team Manager: "Excellent feedback from Jerez de la Frontera tests, following the shakedown at Portimao. It has been an opportunity to do a great team work, getting to know each other better among the new members of the team, also having two new riders. Canet did a great job and has been immidiately quick. We tested new components from Kalex and we have clear the path to follow to start at the top the new season. Xavi has been able to test many solutions that are closer to his riding style and has improved day by day. The real added value has been the Fantic team for the excellent working method!"
