The pole position on Saturday, an All-Time Lap Record, the fastest lap in the race. This is how Fantic presents itself at the 2024 Moto2 World Championship.

The first weekend of the season could have been the perfect debut for Aron Canet with the Fantic Racing Team, instead the race turned out more difficult than expected because of the tyre management. 

Despite a difficult start from Pole, Canet managed to recover 9 positions in just 3 laps and to regain the lead of the group. During the first laps, the Spanish rider proved to be the fastest on track, setting the fastest lap in the race in 1:57.661. 

Until mid-race he fought for the podium showing great constancy, before starting to have problems with the feeling with the tyres that did not allow him to make the most of the power of his bike. 

Tyre wear was an unknown for all riders going into the race. The outcome was affected by the conditions of the asphalt and the start time of the Grand Prix, held at 18:15 local time, without being able to hold a free practice at night during the weekend. 

Xavier Cardelus continues his path of growth and adaptation to the category. He finished in 23th after a consistent race, gaining 4 places compared to his grid position. 

The performance during the weekend was very good, highlighting the great potential that the Fantic Racing Team is determined to prove over the course of the season. The opponents know: Fantic is here and ready to fight.
