Aron Canet, last year’s Moto2 runner-up, and his new teammate Barry Baltus have unveiled the colours and the Title Sponsor with which they aim to put on a show in the 2025 Moto2 World Championship.
Before embarking on the 2025 world tour, Fantic kicked off its season at Villa Farsetti in Santa Maria di Sala (Venice), just a stone’s throw from Fantic Motor’s Operational Headquarter. The 18th-century villa provided the perfect setting to present the company’s sporting projects and celebrate the strong connection between two Italian brands that are deeply rooted in the region yet operate globally: Fantic and Lino Sonego – the team’s Title Sponsor for the 2025 Moto2 World Championship – are gearing up to take on the biggest two-wheel racing series, spanning 22 Grands Prix across 18 countries and four continents.
In 2025, marking the Italian brand’s third season in the Moto2 World Championship, Fantic Racing Lino Sonego will hit the track with a matte black livery accented with red, fielding two talented riders: new recruit Barry Baltus and last year’s runner-up, Aron Canet. Excitement is running high for the Spanish star and his new Belgian teammate, fuelled by a remarkable 2024 season for Canet and Fantic. The highlights included six pole positions, 110 laps led, four victories, and a total of eight podium finishes, culminating in second place in the final championship standings – and setting the stage for an exciting 2025.
