Fantic Factory Racing MXGP’s Glenn Coldenhoff is unable to line up for Team Netherlands on race day at the 2025 Motocross of Nations at Ironman Raceway, USA, following a crash in Saturday’s qualifying heat.
Coming off a strong MXGP season with six podiums, a race win, and an impressive third place in the final championship standings, Glenn Coldenhoff was highly motivated to represent the Netherlands for the 13th time at the prestigious Motocross of Nations. However, after a late crash in the MXGP qualifying race, the Fantic rider was declared unfit following a medical check at the track and will therefore be sidelined for Sunday’s main races.
Coldenhoff went down hard with three laps to go on Saturday, having no chance to avoid a fallen rider. Fortunately, initial checks at a hospital in Indianapolis did not reveal any fractures, but the 34-year-old Dutchman is experiencing pain in his back and shoulder and will return home to undergo further medical examinations in the Netherlands.
On behalf of the Fantic Factory Racing MXGP team and everyone at Fantic, we wish Glenn a speedy recovery!
