“Dare to play?”: Fantic launches the new Stealth 500

Fantic Motor has chosen the curves of Passo dello Spino (AR) for the international debut of the new Stealth 500. Not just a simple presentation, but a true statement of intent: this new Italian sport naked is built for those who refuse to settle, offering an explosive mix of riding fun, technology, and cutting-edge design. With the payoff “Dare to Play?”, Fantic challenges a new generation of riders to rediscover the essence of riding through a project entirely developed and manufactured in Italy.

Starting Tuesday, April 21, on the occasion of the international press launch, 35 journalists from across Europe had the opportunity to test ride the new Stealth 500 in an exclusive preview. The chosen stage is one of the most iconic for pure riding enthusiasts: Passo dello Spino, along a route passing through Città di Castello and Passo di Viamaggio, featuring fast curves and breathtaking views.

Passo dello Spino will host a round of the Italian Hill Climb Championship on May 3. Press launch participants therefore experienced a unique setting, where the road transforms into a circuit, with curbs and air fences evoking the atmosphere of real road races. The ideal habitat for the Stealth 500.

Here, to fully embrace the “Make it Fun” spirit that defines Fantic’s new brand direction, journalists put themselves to the test by competing in a hill climb regularity challenge right along the Spino: an experience driven by riding, instinct, and pure fun. This is the Fantic spirit.

The Stealth family: sporty, versatile, born on the track

Born from racing activity and the experience that led Fantic to become the 2025 Moto2 World Champion Team, the Stealth range offers sport naked bikes designed for those who seek excitement and fun even in everyday riding. From the agile and lightweight Stealth 125 to the new, more powerful and dynamic Stealth 500, each model combines sportiness and versatility, adapting seamlessly to both urban commuting and more spirited riding. It is the ideal companion for those who want a bike capable of handling any situation without sacrificing fun and performance. Stealth is not just a motorcycle: it’s a call to play—one without lights or limits. Just road, sound, and instinct.

The lightest 500 in its category!

Stealth 500 redefines the benchmarks of its segment with a weight of just 147 kg (without fuel, with fluids).
This record makes it the lightest 500cc naked in the A2 category, ensuring exceptional ease of riding and lightning-fast agility through corners.

This achievement is the result of the synergy between a premium chassis, engineered with high-level technical solutions, and the beating heart of the bike: the new MM460 single-cylinder engine. Extremely compact and powerful, the new engine allows for minimal mass, playing a key role in delivering the Stealth’s outstanding power-to-weight ratio.

Optimized “Italian Heart”

Beneath the sharp design of the new Stealth 500 beats the MM460 engine, the evolution of the “Italian Heart” already appreciated on the Caballero 500, here deeply refined to enhance the naked bike’s road-going and sporty character. The 463 cc single-cylinder (4-stroke, Euro 5+, DOHC, 4 valves) now features a new lightweight piston, reducing inertia and delivering even quicker, more aggressive revving.

Developed by Motori Minarelli, this power unit is a true concentration of Made in Italy technology. Thanks to electronic fuel injection with a 46 mm Ride-by-Wire throttle body, it ensures immediate response and class-leading linear power delivery within the A2 category.

The multi-disc wet slipper clutch guarantees smooth downshifts and stability, even under aggressive riding conditions.

What truly sets it apart is its premium electronic package, featuring Traction Control and a sophisticated inertial platform with Cornering ABS. To allow every rider to master any scenario, the Stealth 500 offers four Riding Modes: Street, Wet, Track, and Custom. These act as perfectly tuned setups, coordinating engine delivery (via FUN or WET maps), Traction Control intervention, and ABS management in seamless synergy, with the option to disable the rear ABS for a more direct and sporty riding experience. An integrated system that transforms technology into pure riding confidence.

The Stealth 500 is equipped with a modern and advanced 5-inch TFT display, offering a clear and intuitive interface for the rider. The TFT screen also features Bluetooth connectivity, enabling management of notifications, calls, and navigation functions directly from the dashboard. It is also equipped with a USB-C port for charging.

Chassis and Italian DNA: Streetfighter Precision

The technical concept of the Stealth 500 revolves around three fundamental pillars: lightness, optimized rigidity, and mass centralization. Every component has been designed to deliver uncompromising sportiness, lowering and centralizing the center of gravity for lightning-fast responsiveness.

The frame represents a small revolution in the segment. For the first time in its category, Fantic introduces a hybrid frame that combines a steel front trellis, forged aluminum side plates, and a removable rear subframe. This configuration ensures optimal torsional rigidity, absorbing road imperfections while delivering outstanding precision through mixed and high-speed sections.

The swingarm, made entirely of aluminum with a reinforced lower brace, maximizes structural rigidity, improving traction and stability under acceleration. To further enhance mass centralization, the exhaust system features a low-mounted expansion chamber, ending with a high-mounted silencer that streamlines the bike’s profile and balances weight distribution.

The front end is dominated by a 41 mm USD fork with triple clamp and bottoms made of forged and lightweight aluminum—a race-inspired design that reduces unsprung masses. At the rear, the monoshock is adjustable in preload.

Safety and braking performance are entrusted to a high-level ByBre system: a front setup with an oversized 320 mm disc and radial caliper, and a 230 mm rear disc. Everything is managed by a dual-channel Cornering ABS (rear deactivatable), reducing stopping distances even while leaned over.

Power is delivered to the ground through Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires (110/70x17 – 150/60x17), mounted on 5-spoke aluminum wheels. The 150 mm rear section ensures maximum grip and optimal contact patch, confirming the Stealth 500 as the new sporty benchmark for road use.

Design and Colors: Racing Soul, Street Body

The single-seat configuration, achieved by removing the passenger seat and footpegs, gives the bike a sporty and eye-catching design.

The bike stands out for its dual-lens Full LED headlights, both for low and high beams, combining lighting efficiency with a modern design. This advanced technology ensures excellent visibility in all conditions while giving the bike a distinctive, futuristic look. The front and rear indicators also feature LED technology, providing faster and more responsive illumination.

The new Stealth 500 makes its debut with graphics designed to enhance its dynamic shapes. The Fantic Style Center has reinterpreted the brand’s iconic colors in a contemporary key, conveying pure energy at first glance.

There are four color options for the new Italian naked bike:

-        Racing White: the sporty elegance of white with red details.

-        Acid Green: bold and magnetic, for a pure streetfighter attitude.

-        Red: the classic red, a symbol of Fantic’s racing passion.

-        Yellow: the iconic yellow for those who express true character.

The Stealth 500 will be available across Europe starting from May, with a retail price in Italy starting at €6,490 (VAT included).
