A dream come true at the thrilling EnduroGP finale in Germany: Axel Semb and the Fantic Factory Racing Enduro team managed by Simone Albergoni have clinched the 2025 Junior World Championship title!
Runner-up last season, Axel Semb made his ambitions clear right from the beginning of the season. The 22-year-old Swede took the lead in the Junior overall standings with a stunning double victory in Spain, followed by a flawless home GP weekend, as he dominated the class in front of the passionate Swedish crowd in Skövde.
In the second half of the season, Semb briefly gave up the lead to fellow Fantic rider Kevin Cristino, but reclaimed the top spot in a thrilling finale at the decisive EnduroGP round in Germany – winning day one and finishing second on day two, exactly what he needed to secure the title after a strong season for both Fantic Juniors.
With a total of fifth wins and four more podiums collected across the seven rounds, Semb was crowned Junior World Champion aboard the Fantic XEF 310, managed by Simone Albergoni’s Fantic Factory Racing Enduro team. And there are two gold medals to celebrate: Semb also claimed the J2 World Cup, alongside the ultimate dream – the Junior overall title, now officially a reality.
Cristino takes home the silver medal after an impressive season, sealing a Fantic 1-2.
Axel Semb:
“This feels so good! It was so tough before, when it felt like everything was slipping out of my hands, but after Saturday, the situation changed. Coming into today, I had it all in my own hands. It was definitely a stressful day, but I managed it well. The track was so demanding, and it was easy to make mistakes, but I kept it on two wheels while pushing. To make it happen means a lot – I am just so happy. Right after the finish, it was such a huge relief that I started to cry. I don’t even know what I was thinking – it is just unbelievable. A huge thank you to my family for supporting me from the very beginning, and to my team and everyone at Fantic, as well as all the people who have been there for me.”
