Fantic Racing is all dressed up for a special occasion going into round 10 of the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship in Maggiora, celebrating the first home GP for the Italian brand with a factory line-up in the MXGP and MX2 class. You won’t miss Glenn Coldenhoff, Brian Bogers, Kay Karssemakers and David Braceras on track this weekend.
Coming off a strong double top-5 finish with Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers at the MXGP of Latvia, missing out on the first premier class podium for the Fantic XXF 450 by just one point, the hopes are high going into the much-anticipated Italian GP.
For the first time ever, Fantic Factory Racing will line up both in the MX2 and the MXGP class at the Italian brand’s home round. To celebrate this milestone, David Braceras, Kay Karssemakers, Brian Bogers and Glenn Coldenhoff will stand out on the iconic track of Maggiora with a special, one-off look designed by Fantic’s official partner Shot Race Gear. The red and white colours don’t just reflect the brand identity but also convey the passion and the burning desire to make it happen.
Mariano Roman, Vice President Fantic Motor:
“For Fantic, a small Italian manufacturer chasing big dreams, the MXGP of Italy has a special meaning. Even more so after a first part of the season in which we were able to fight with the top teams on our return to the premier class. To see Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers come so close to what would be a first, historic podium for our brand in MXGP, makes us proud. We are excited to keep on this journey in Maggiora, a legendary motocross track that owns a piece history of this wonderful sport. We also continue to support the next generation in the 125 class. The amazing results in the European Championship prove that, one more time, we were able to identify the future stars who are growing together with us.”
The Fantic Factory Racing EMX125 squad will be eager to continue its dominating run. So far, red plate holder Noel Zanocz and his teammate Simone Mancini put the Fantic XX 125 on the top step of the podium in five out of six rounds. Fantic is also leading the manufacturers’ standings.
There is more to see this weekend. To have a closer look at the Fantic MY25 off-road model range, don’t miss the chance to visit the stand in the commercial area alongside the race track.
