The new queen of the 4-stroke world: the Fantic XXF450 MY26 is born from one of the most revealing seasons ever, marked by a series of holeshots, five world championship podiums and a historic moto victory in the premier MXGP class.
The immense experience gained during the first World Championship season alongside the Fantic Factory MXGP Team with Glenn Coldenhoff, Andrea Bonacorsi and Brian Bogers has enabled a decisive evolutionary step in the 2026 4-stroke range, further raising the level of the XXF450.
The engine of the new Fantic XXF450 MY26 makes a decisive leap forward thanks to major technical updates. The latest-generation Yamaha powerplant features a cylinder head with completely revised intake ports, designed to optimise airflow and improve performance across the entire operating range.
The standard hydraulic clutch, equipped with a Brembo master cylinder, now features an updated clutch spring and a pressure plate with an increased number of lubrication holes, boosting reliability even in the most extreme conditions. The new flywheel, characterised by greater inertia, contributes to smoother and more manageable power delivery.
Among the most notable updates, the XXF450 MY26 — just like its smaller sibling, the XXF250 — comes standard with an Akrapovic exhaust system featuring a titanium silencer and stainless-steel headers.
This solution, derived directly from the Racing Department, delivers a tangible improvement in both power and torque curves across the entire rev range, further elevating the overall performance level.
The XXF450 MY26 brings to the track an electronics package developed directly from competition: GET Traction Control and Launch Control are now standard, ensuring optimal traction and explosive starts, easily managed via the convenient handlebar-mounted multi-switch. Just think of the MXGP results: no fewer than eight holeshots in the current season — clear proof of the system’s effectiveness.
At the heart of the electronics remains the ST39 Athena-GET ECU, designed together with the Fantic Racing department. It offers two selectable engine maps (Hard and Soft), both fully customizable through the WiGET app, which can be configured directly from a smartphone.
Ergonomics, also developed with the Factory team, feature slim and sculpted bodywork to ensure maximum freedom of movement. Complete equipment such as standard handguards and skid plate confirms the XXF450 as a true race-ready machine, built to compete at the highest level.
On the XXF450 MY26, frame rigidity has been optimised in the front section to offer the rider more direct and precise feedback.
The bike inherits all the technological sophistication of Fantic’s 4-stroke platform: a lightweight, agile and extremely responsive aluminum frame, built through carefully engineered casting, extrusion and forging processes to ensure the best possible balance between rigidity and lightness.
This design allows the XXF450 to maintain stability and confidence at all times, handling jumps, obstacles and fast sections with ease while preserving maximum precision.
The Kayaba suspension package is also confirmed, with the SSS (Speed Sensitive System) fork delivering top-level performance on any type of terrain.
The new Fantic MY26 liveries celebrate the brand’s heritage by reinterpreting the iconic red and blue colours with a more modern and aggressive twist. The graphic theme is enhanced by the use of visually striking chrome elements, which highlight the lines of the plastics and give the bike a unique presence — instantly recognisable on the track.
