Fantic Racing Moto2 Team will start from first position for the fifth time in the season at the Indonesia GP thanks to Aron Canet’s pole position.
At the Mandalika International Circuit, Aron Canet confirms he is the rider to beat. From the first session in the amazing Lombok he immediately showed his speed. During the practice he continued to lower his lap time, until scoring the new track record in 1'33.077 and gaining direct access to Q2 with the best time. During the qualifying, the increase in temperature did not allow the riders to repeat the times of the practice but Aron still confirmed himself the fastest. With a laptime of 1'33.434 he has taken the fifth pole position of the season and tomorrow will start the GP of Indonesia first.
Aron Canet:
"We worked hard and I felt good on the bike. I’m happy for the pole position, the second consecutive and the fifth since the beginning of the season. Tomorrow we will give 100% to win. In the race we know it could be different but we have shown that we also have a good pace."
