The Fantic Racing Moto2 team is back on track this weekend for the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit, the penultimate race before the summer break in the world championship.
The German one is the shortest track in the MotoGP, with its 3.671 km length and a straight only 780 meters long.
The Sachsenring circuit has always tested the riders' skills, with ten left turns and only four right turns. The physical effort required by the riders is considerable, making the races exciting and competitive.
Celestino Vietti's spirit is high: at Mugello, he was the protagonist of a sensational comeback race. Cele had ended up in the rear of the group due to a crash of three drivers at the start, right in front of him, forcing him to slow down to avoid them, but he recovered ten positions in the first six laps, crossing the finish line in 5th position. He also set the new speed record for the Tuscan track for the Moto2 class, touching 301.6 km/h.
Borja Gomez, after showing signs of growth among the ups and downs of Mugello, continues his debut season in the Moto2 world championship at Sachsenring.
Celestino Vietti: "The Sachsenring is a complicated and technical circuit. At Mugello, I had a good feeling on the bike, and we were able to be competitive. So, we will start the weekend from here."
Borja Gomez: "I am very eager to get on track at Sachsenring. After the improvements at Mugello, the German GP is another opportunity to continue to improve."
