Today's race concluded the 11th round of the Moto2 World Championship. 

It was a difficult start for Vietti, immediately victim of a contact at the start that forced him to close the throttle, losing positions and finding himself in 23rd position after the first corner. The Fantic Racing rider began to rebuild his race with a series of overtaking, remounting second after second, finishing in tenth position, and recovering thirteen. 

Thanks to this result, Vietti climbs to sixth in the World Riders' Championship standings with 86 points.

Race of constancy for Borja Gomez: The young Spanish rider finishes his home grand prix with a twentieth place. 

The Fantic Racing team returns to the track next week at the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano.

Celestino Vietti: "The pace was excellent; we had the pace to be in the leading group. Unfortunately, we had that contact right at the beginning because we could have been fighting for the podium. We could recover and bring home some important points for the championship. In Misano, we will continue to give our best."

Borja Gomez: "We are really happy with our work this weekend. Racing on a track I knew helped us improve our feeling with the bike. Now, we have a good base to work on ahead of Misano again. I thank Fantic and the team for the progress they make me every weekend."
