Termas de Rio Hondo (ARG), March 30, 2023
There was just enough time to close the crates in Portugal and send them to the land of the World Champions. After an exhausting journey, all the World Cup teams are already up and running in Termas de Rio Hondo for the second scheduled stage.
In the Argentine GP, Celestino Vietti will finally be able to ride a race in the same conditions as his rivals, for Borja Gomez a chance to get back on the bike and continue learning the track and perhaps an opportunity to bring home some good points for the standings.
37°C, mosquitos, and maybe even rain to increase the already high humidity will be the obstacles for drivers facing a more straightforward track than the Portuguese one but still at nearly 300 km/h.
The team has already put the four long-lap penalties behind them. However, if the two Fantic Racing riders could face the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit with the same attitude with which they faced the difficulties experienced in Portimao, they could take away some good satisfaction. After all, last year, Celestino won here.
